The follow up to Do It Like A Dude shows Jessie J getting deep, or at least not shallow (money isn't everything etc etc) on us. Can't help but feeling like I've heard this all before, agreed it's not as politcally motivated as M.I.A.'s punch in the face that was Paper Planes, but still the message of there's more to life than designer label's is such a cliche, that it's going to take cleverer lyrics than this to put a new spin on it.
The video though is glossy, polished, shows Jessie's style off to a tee and is in general pretty faultless. The track also is bright and breezy with a deffinate summer vibe going on - I can just imagine cruising along in the sunshine with this on the radio.
Overall, I want to like Jessie J, but after this and the over-hyped Do It Like A Dude, I'm not jumping on the bandwagon just yet.
