Its been a while since Jennifer Lopez has been relevant music-wise, with I don't know how many leaked tracks, demos and rurmoured new singles appearing and dissapearing online. It seems now though, we deffinately have something to go with:
Jennifer Lopez - On The Floor ft. Pitbull by Guzzo
Lopez goes 90s club classics, using the type of sound now being popularised in songs like Lady GaGa's Alejandro. Produced by REDONE, the track will be premiered on Ryan Seacrests radio show next week. This is most reminiscent of J-Lo's Waiting For Tonight - a distant memory of when she was really at her peak - with the irritating Pitbull and a hint of "hotel motel holiday inn" thrown in for good luck.
I'm not sure though if this is original and exciting enough to catch up with what everyone else in the music industry is doing at the moment. It has its moments, and is deffinately the best thing Lopez has done in a LONG time, but I don't see this with #1 smash written all over it.
